A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said paramedics were called about 8am to reports of a truck and bicycle accident on Alexandra Street in Park Avenue.

The 15-year-old suffered minor injuries to his knee and arm and was taken to Rockhampton Hospital in a stable condition.
Luckily, he was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, according to a Queensland Police Service spokeswoman.

A Queensland Fire Department spokesman said one crew of firefighters attended the accident and nobody was trapped at the scene where the accident occurred.
