Rescue helicopter airlifts injured motorcyclist after crash on Bruce Hwy near Maryborough

A man is in a critical condition while a teen has suffered face, arm and spinal injuries after separate motorbike crashes today.

Multiple motorbike riders have been rushed to hospital following two serious highway crashes in Queensland on Sunday.

A teenage boy and a man aged in his 20s, have both been airlifted to hospital.

The man has been airlifted to Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane after the motorbike he was riding crashed into a tree at Aldershot, just north of Maryborough about 9am.

He is in a critical condition suffering chest and spinal injuries.

The teenager suffered facial, arm and suspected spinal injuries after the motorbike he was riding crashed on the Flinders Highway at Broughton just after 10am.

He was rushed in a serious but stable condition to Charters Towers Hospital. He will be airlifted to another facility later today.
