A South East Queensland family have been left fearing for their lives after a horrifying home invasion during which they allege an intruder held a gun to their 12-year-old son’s head.

Wild footage captured the moment a group of four armed and hooded men entered Khaleefa Al Shamari’s Logan home, yelling orders at the homeowners.

“I’ll f---ing put one in her f---ing skull,” one of the intruders can be heard saying.

“Where’s your f---ing purse, where? Grab it!”

Mr Al Shamari’s seven-year-old son Mustafa said one of the intruders pointed a gun at him during the ordeal.

“He broke my door, then he just came in and pointed the gun at me,” he said

“He was like, if you make any noise I’ll shoot you.”

The group then stole gold, electronics and more than $2000 in cash.

Mr Al Shamari also said he and his wife were beaten with cricket bats by the intruders and both sustained injuries.

The group attempted to flee in one of Mr Al Shamari’s cars but were unable to get the car into gear, instead deciding to flee on foot.

A Queensland Police spokesperson confirmed they are investigating the alleged armed robbery.

“It is understood four males gained entry to the South Maclean property through the back door and threatened the occupants with what appeared to be a gun,” the spokesperson said.

“The offenders then stole a quantity of property before fleeing the scene in a small sedan.
