Police searching for fishermen in tinnie missing off Brisbane
Two men who set off on a fishing trip in their tinnie are missing at sea after failing to arrive back at a Brisbane boat ramp last night.

TWO men who set off on a fishing trip in their tinnie are missing at sea after failing to arrive back at a Brisbane boat ramp last night.
The men, aged 31 and 25, set off from the Whyte Island boat ramp, at the Port of Brisbane yesterday.
They contacted family at 10.15pm to say they were heading home but didn’t make it back.
Their car and trailer were found at the boat ramp

Water police are searching for the missing boat but it is not known where the men intended to fish.
Their boat is a 3.3m Stacer brand aluminium tinnie, dark blue in colour with red Queensland registration OM209Q.
Both men are from the Brisbane area.
