Man airlifted with life-threatening injuries after Mt Samson crash

A man has been airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries following a serious multi-vehicle crash north of Brisbane.

A man has been airlifted to hospital with life-threatening injuries following a serious multi-vehicle crash north of Brisbane.

The two vehicle crash happened at Winn Rd, Mount Samson, just before 1pm.

It is understood that it was a head-on crash and that one of the vehicles had rolled over.

A man in his 20s suffered life-threatening pelvic and abdominal injuries and was airlifted to the Princess Alexandra Hospital.

A female in her 50s with chest and abdominal injuries was taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a stable condition.

A male in his 60s with leg and chest injuries was also taken to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a stable condition.

Winn Rd has been closed in both directions following the crash.

Investigations into the circumstances of the crash are underway.
