Paramedics treating three people with serious injuries after multi-vehicle crash at Millmerran

Three people have suffered serious and significant injuries after an horrific crash south of Toowoomba.

Emergency services were called to the crash on Turallin Rd off the Gore Hwy at Millmerran, about 80km south of Toowoomba about 2pm.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said paramedics were treating three people who were initially trapped in the wreckage.

They include a woman aged in her 30s with head injuries, a woman aged in her 20s with head and chest injuries, and a man in his 20s with head and spinal injuries.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said each person has “serious and significant” injuries.

Three LifeFlight aeromedical crews have been tasked to the incident.

A fourth person sustained minor injuries and travelled to the Millmerran Medical Centre independent of the Queensland Ambulance Service.

Two cars collided on Turallin Rd, about 1.45pm.

Motorists are advised to avoid the area.
