It has one of Queensland’s most expensive property markets but there are some renovators’ delights and units in Noosa Heads still available for a relative song.
They may be out of reach for some entering the market but there are a small number of properties in the tightly-held area listed for sale for under $500,000.
Property values soared throughout the area by up to 30 per cent in the past 12 months with record-breaking sales becoming the norm as the country’s love affair with the holiday hotspot continued.
Here’s a snapshot of some of the more affordable properties under or around the $500,000 mark in the Noosa region:
75/73 Hilton Tce, Noosa Heads
This unit is described as a great buy for investors or those looking for an affordable holiday unit.
Lee Hughes and Brad Schultz of Freedom Property Sunshine Coast have listed it for sale for $330,000.
The ground level one-bedroom unit has a single lock up garage and is located in one of Noosa’s most popular resorts, Ivory Palms.

Here’s an option for those with a little bit more cash to splash and who may be a little business savvy.

It is listed for sale for offers over $625,000.
It has off street parking and is adjacent to businesses and a cafe and restaurant precinct.

This one bedroom resort apartment has been listed for sale as an affordable investment option.
The Noosa Blue Resort apartment is in walking distance of restaurants, cafes and shops and is being sold fully furnished.
It is listed for sale with a price guide of $418,000.
2/28 Kauri St, Cooroy
This unit is described as a “bargain” and “priced to sell” at $325,000.
The property is currently rented for $295 per week to a government agency that offers subsidised rentals to low-income residents and those less fortunate.
2/24 Myall St, Cooroy
This “funky” unit in the heart of Cooroy is being advertised to first home buyers, investors and downsizers.
