Noosa Heads near drowning: Man pulled from surf at Noosa National Park
Health authorities have given an update on a man who was rushed to hospital by critical care paramedics after he was pulled from the surf at Noosa National Park.

A man is in a critical condition after he was pulled from the surf at Noosa National Park.
A Queensland Health spokeswoman said the man’s condition had worsened since he was rescued from the water about 6.45am on Monday.
Paramedics had rushed to Park Rd in Noosa Heads after they received reports of a near drowning.
A Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman said the man may have suffered a medical incident while he was in the water.
Critical care paramedics rushed the man in a serious condition to Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
Paramedics also were called to another near drowning on Monday, when a toddler was pulled from a pool at a Buderim home.
The young boy was also taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital, where he remains in a stable condition.
It came after a male teenager was taken to hospital on Saturday evening after a near drowning.
Critical care paramedics rushed the teen to Sunshine Coast University Hospital after he was reportedly caught in a rip along the Maroochydore-Alexandra Headland stretch of beach.
The teen was caught in the rip in waters off Alexandra Pde just before 6pm and was taken to hospital in a stable condition.
This incidents come only weeks following the tragic drowning of Sydney woman Jill Covitz at Marcus Beach on January 25.
