One of Australia’s favourite couples have shared snaps from their tropical Queensland getaway to social media.

Four-time winning NRL premiership player Nathan Cleary and Matildas superstar Mary Fowler have been enjoying their time off by relaxing in the Whitsunday Islands.

Fowler, who starred for the Matildas in their run to the semi-final in the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, took to Instagram to share photos taken by her NRL-playing beau during their time on Hayman Island.

Fowler loved the holiday.

Captioned ‘The cute holiday pics he took’, the post includes photos taken by Cleary of Fowler sipping coffee, swimming in the ocean, and exploring the tropical island.

The post also includes a mirror photo of the couple, as well as a shot of Fowler sleeping.

Cleary also uploaded his own post from their time away captioned ‘Batteries are charged’.

Their posts attracted a host of comments from adoring fans, as well as each other.

“Nathan’s photography is steady (sic) improving,” one Instagram user commented.

“You two are soooooo sweet,” another user commented.

On Fowler’s post, Cleary commented “The last one is simply immaculate” referring to the snap of his football-playing partner sleeping, while Fowler commented “He be looking fiiine” on Cleary’s post.
