A man appears to have towed a car out of a car park himself on the Gold Coast after the vehicle had blocked his trailer.
Dramatic footage of the incident posted on Saturday afternoon shows a man entering a white Ford 4WD with its tailgate up and a towing strap attached to a white Toyota that was parked in a trailer bay.
The white Ford then takes off, dragging the Toyota behind it out of the Jacobs Well Boat Ramp car park.
The footage was uploaded to the Landos Down Under Facebook page which opened the caption with “road rage at its best!!”
“When you park infront (sic) of someones (sic) boat or jet ski trailer and block them in, they wont (sic) be happy,” the post continued.
It goes on to say that the Toyota had blocked the Ford’s trailer with very little room to navigate, triggering the Ford driver to take action.
“But … he was not happy.”
The post received over 1000 comments mostly in support of the Ford driver’s actions.
“This guy gets Australian of the year for the next 2 years! Absolute legend,” one said.
“Should be a job title. We have this at Gosford boat ramp where visitors consider themselves more important taking up trailer parking bays in good numbers,” one commenter said.
“Someone buy that man a beer,” said another.
“Buy him a carton of beer,” someone responded.
A Queensland Police spokeswoman said no report had been made to police following the incident.
