A man in his 20s is in a critical condition following a serious crash in Brisbane’s southern suburbs.

A man in his 20s is fighting for life after a serious car crash in Brisbane’s southern suburbs early this morning.
Emergency services were called to a two-vehicle crash on Old Cleveland Rd westbound in Belmont just before 3am.
Two men were treated including one man in his 20s who was initially trapped in the car.
He was released and was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition with head, abdominal, pelvis and leg injuries.
Another man in his 20s was taken to hospital in a stable condition with abdominal and leg injuries.
Police shut the Gateway Motorway off ramp southbound near Mount Petrie Rd at the time of the crash and drivers were asked to avoid the area.
