A Clairview woman has been seriously injured when the SUV she was driving and a truck collided at Middlemount trapping her inside the crushed vehicle.
The 39 year old was flown to Mackay Base Hospital following the incident on Centenary Drive North about 6.30pm Tuesday.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the woman was entrapped in the vehicle for a period of time.
She suffered a significant arm injury and leg injuries, which were non life-threatening.
It is understood the Kenilworth truck had been travelling west on Dysart Middlemount Rd and had turned right onto Centenary Dr when the Toyota has collided with the front of the truck.
Police are investigating the incident.
Mackay paramedics were also called out to a pedestrian and e-scooter incident in the city at the intersection of Mangrove Rd and Victoria St about 7.10pm.
One person was taken to Mackay Base Hospital in a stable condition.
