Another motorcycle crash has shaken the weekend calm of the Pioneer Valley.
Emergency crews raced to the scene near Marian where two people were injured on Sunday morning.
According to the Queensland Ambulance Service, the call came through at 8.57am and paramedics assessed two patients - an elderly man and woman.
The male is reportedly suffering neck pain and the female, an arm injury.
Both have been taken to Mackay Base Hospital.
The crash comes just one day after a shocking fatality on Marian Eton Rd.
A 19-year-old Mirani motorcyclist died following a collision with a truck on the road about 8am.
He suffered critical injuries in the crash and it was later confirmed he had died at the scene.
The truck driver was not physically harmed in the incident.
Police, ambulance and QFES personnel attended the scene and the road was blocked to traffic for hours.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
In Bowen, a male rider in his 20s suffered back and neck injuries in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash on Sunday afternoon.
The crash occurred at the intersection of Bootooloo Rd and Reeves Rd.
An ambulance crew transported the man in a stable condition to Bowen Hospital.
