Darryn Dyer
Norths’ Darryn Dyer led the way for the Cyclones with bat in hand in their first match against Central Queensland, hitting his way to 51 off 54 balls.
Mason Kohler
In the first match, Kohler was unbelievably economical with ball in hand. If not for conceding one boundary, he would’ve finished with 3-0, but he had to settle with 3-4 from 6.2 overs - that’s 37 dot balls if you don’t mind. Took 1-15 off four overs in the second game as the Cyclones battled to defend just 34.
Isaac Borg
Borg spun a web in his side’s first hit out, claiming a tidy 3-22 from 10 overs. Managed 1-6 off two in the second game.
Mackay-Whitsunday Open Women
Aleisha Middleton
The skipper stood tall to strike 50* from 50 balls in the opening clash against CQ.
Kelsey Waldon

Haylee Holdsworth
Holdsworth was the standout in game two, striking 67 runs from 48 deliveries.

Mackay-Whitsunday U25 Men
Etienne Pretorious
Pretorious played a strong hand in the first game against CQ at the top of the order before he was run out, finishing with 40 from 63 balls in a knock that included six boundaries.
Lochi Whitehead
Whitehead too shone in the U25s first game, finding the boundary eight times is 61-ball 53.
Todd Dixon
Dixon too stood tall with the bat in game one, smashing his way to a 44-ball 55 from number seven. The knock included six 4s and three 6s. Also took 2-35 off 8 in that same game.
Wes Dyer
Magpies’ Wes Dyer picked up a neat 3-32 from eight overs in the U25s first game.
Mackay-Whitsunday U15 Boy’s
Jack Law
Fresh off a first-grade debut for Brothers, 15-year-old Jack Law had a carnival to remember. He plundered 52 and 46 in the Cyclones first two games, before striking a pivotal 95-ball 104 that included 12 fours and four sixes. He also picked up 2-16 off eight overs in the same game.
Corey Stroud
Following up from a 40 off 64 balls in game one, Stroud came into his own in the second match, notching an unbeaten 101 from 147 deliveries to steer Mackay-Whitsunday to a seven-wicket win over Central Queensland, chasing down 228 in the final over.
Brayden Mattan
Mattan was the chief destroyer with the ball in game one against North Queensland, taking 3-16 from his 5 overs.
Connor Muller
Muller was a standout with ball in hand for the Cyclones in game two against Central Queensland, taking half the team’s wickets to finish with 3-34 from 10 overs.
