It is the race to perfection, and only one team can hold that title and hoist the trophy.
The undefeated Meteorettes will play the 5-0 Cairns in the U14 girls State Championships in Mackay.
Fresh off a convincing 60-38 semi final victory, the Mackay girls should be feeling confident in both their offensive skills and their defensive capabilities.
The Meteorettes started their semi final demolition with a blistering 20-1 first quarter, with Cheyenne Bobongie pouring in points at will.
Isabel Smith has been a dominant second option all tournament; the pair of Meteorettes sit first and fourth in average points in the carnival.

Smith scored 23 points in the semi final and Bobongie 15, but Maggie Thornburn also poured it in with 10 off the bench.
Emmerson Kenny was strong defensively, with her hustle leading to a number of turnovers and easy transition buckets at the other end.
Samantha Padget also provide stern defence throughout the tournament, and Mackay coach Troy Brown will be asking the forward to play bigger against a strong Cairns outfit.
Mackay will have to be weary of Cairns guard Taryn Bond, who has averaged more than 20 points per contest.
She has been helped by an in-form Leah Pearson, who has provided Bond with a good foil option, averaging 13.5 points per game.
It is set to be a close game, with the two sides meeting in the North Queensland Junior Basketball Championships in June.
Mackay lost that match 47-48, which followed a State Championship loss in 2019 by just three points to Cairns again.
The contest is set to be another thriller, and it is all streamed here.
