2023’s Mackay Indigenous Carnival proved to be another raging success, with bumper crowds lining the Mackay Junior Rugby League grounds to watch a plethora of NRL stars and some of the regions best local talents.

A GH United side featuring the likes of Dane and Jacob Gagai, Josh Dugan, Josh Hoffman, and Cody Walker took home the open men’s crown, while Coastal Neurs prevailed in the open women’s for the second year running.
