THE Sarina Show scheduled for the first week of August has been officially cancelled.

But Sarina Show Society president Malcolm Langdon is holding out hope some form of public festivities will still be held at the Sarina Showgrounds in 2020.

"At the end of the year, we may have a country fair with markets, a few ring events and maybe a rodeo," Mr Langdon said.
