"It really is about the location. There are no house in the front or behind the home,” Ms Pietzner said.

"They have put in a plunge pool and have also added another room to the back of the house to create a full entertainment area with built in BBQ and sink.

"It's a lifestyle home. You can walk out the back, open the gate and the kids can go straight out and play cricket in the park.”

"We have most definitely seen more interest in East Mackay, the location is just great and is what is attracting people,” she said.

"It was thought of once as an older area but it has since been rediscovered.”
