In a record street sale for Nunkeri Drive in North Mackay, a designer home has sold to local buyers for $1.2 million.

The home at 7-9 Nunkeri Drive settled through Harcourts Coastal Broadbeach in January, after being initially listed for $1.4 million through Gardian Real Estate.

Harcourts real estate agent Tina Sander said there was “excellent interest” in the home before it sold.

“I think we had three offers in total,” Ms Sander said.

She said the buyers were from Mackay and that the sale was a street record for Nunkeri Drive.

The property is split across multiple levels with a family room at the heart of the home, which opens onto the deck with an outdoor kitchen, in-ground pool and stunning views.

Up a few steps from the family room is the laundry and guest bedroom with its own ensuite.

“The design was beautiful,” Ms Sander said.

“You had 270-degree views out at Mackay.

“It’s just a very lux high-end feel about it.”

Prior to its recent sale, the Nunkeri Dr home sold in 2008 for $355,000.
