A suite of “exquisite” and “bespoke” homes have hit the market in North Queensland boasting uninterrupted views of the Coral Sea.
Urbex Realty general manager Craig Covacich said he was thrilled to launch the seven four-bedroom, three-bathroom properties as part of the Beach Collective.
Located in the Sol Precinct of the newly created estate The Dunes at Mackay Harbour, each two-level townhome offers luxury finishes, a private plunge pool and uninterrupted views of the Coral Sea.
“We’re excited to unveil a first in the Mackay market; exquisite beachfront properties of the highest quality and only 10-minutes from town,” Mr Covavich said.
The homes start from $1.56m with two of seven complete and ready for inspection, one of which offers an opportunity to own absolute beachfront property with a six per cent yield over a three-by-three leaseback term.
The five remaining properties are on offer as ready-built homes upon a 10 per cent deposit with the balance due on completion.
“Nationally, beachside living opportunities are scarce, driving high capital growth,” Mr Covavich said.
“Our beachside collection of homes offer an attractive yet affordable opportunity to secure a truly unique and limited way of life.”
Mr Covavich said prestige properties were “proving resilient” to interest rate and economic fluctuations “unlike the broader market” with the Beach Collective presenting an “unparalleled opportunity” for both Mackay locals and newcomers to Queensland.
The Dunes estate sprawls 57 hectares with more than a third it dedicated to open space, conservation and parkland.
Its developer, East Point Pty Ltd, recently revealed it was hoping to open a high-end 63-room resort within the next three to five years complete with a cafe, gelato shop, beautician or yoga studio, convenience store, a restaurant and functions venue, and a poolside bar.
The application is currently before Mackay Regional Council.
