UPDATE, 1.40PM: A motorbike stolen in a ram-raid of a Mackay store this morning has been found.

Mackay police confirmed a 2020 KX250 motorbike was located after it was stolen as part of an ongoing investigation.

Police said they had identified people of interest in relation to the incident.

No arrests have been made.

The motorbike was stolen after a red 2013 Toyota LandCruiser was reversed into Mackay Kawasaki's automated doors three times, about 4am Wednesday.

A male wearing a balaclava and one glove entered the business through the damaged doors, and after failing to start the bike, wheeled it out through a wedge in the doors.

The LandCruiser was stolen from Andergrove on Monday afternoon, and had two small dogs in it.

The dogs were later found beside a road at Sarina four hours after the car theft.

Initial Story: ROLLING into the carpark outside Mackay Kawasaki about 4am, a stolen red 2013 Toyota LandCruiser slowly backed up towards the dealership's automated doors.

CCTV footage showed that it reversed into the doors three times, smashing it apart and sending oil bottles and shards of glass spilling across the ground.

A male wearing one glove, a balaclava across his face, a black cap, black shorts and a grey hoodie, jumped out of the driver's seat and wedged his way through the broken doors.

He then grabbed a nearby 2020 KX250 motorbike and attempted to start it, before pushing it outside.

After a few more attempts to start the bike, he then rode away on it, followed by the LandCruiser.

The LandCruiser was the same vehicle that was stolen from Andergrove on Monday afternoon, inside which were two dogs that were later returned home after being spotted in Sarina four hours after they were taken.

Mackay Kawasaki owner Vicki Burgess was told about the ram raid shortly afterwards on Wednesday morning after alarms alerted Mackay Police.

"I've had a gutful," she said.

Ms Burgess said it wasn't the first time her business of 13 years had been targeted by thieves, with other motorbikes, accessories and stock being stolen.

"This is the first one where a car actually ram raided, most of them are smashing glass and stealing things, but to date I've have never had a result from any of them so I hope they catch these ones," she said.

"They've completely destroyed the front entry, all the automatic doors, damaged heaps of stock. Now we've got to have people come in and put temporary doors up, re-route all the alarm system and wait two and a half weeks for a whole new door system to be refitted.

"I've had enough. We are insured but it doesn't matter, you're still paying out, still losing business and still have excesses to pay. Just because you're insured doesn't mean it costs you nothing."

Ms Burgess and her employees were busy tidying up Wednesday morning, alerting people to be careful of the slippery road where oil had spilled out and spread with the rain.

"Now we're going to have to step up security even more," she said.

"We've already got bars on the window to prevent them trying to walk stuff through the glass, we've already got security, cameras, detection on all the glass, it's all shatter-proof, and now we're going to have to do bollards.

"The next step after that is putting mesh on the windows which is not nice, but what else do you do? I'm over it.

"We like to have all the windows in the showroom open for people to look in and we've started putting all display units and tyre racks in front of the windows just to try and stop people breaking in because there's stuff in front of windows. But now they're going straight through the front doors."
