Earlier: Police hold concerns and are calling for help to find a missing woman after a traffic crash at Bakers Creek overnight.
Emergency crews were called to Walz Rd following a single vehicle rollover about 12.40am Tuesday, but the driver – who is believed to be a woman in her 40s from the area – remains missing.
This comes days after a serious crash at the Bakers Creek Bridge where a ute ploughed through the guardrail and landed on its roof on the banks below.
A Queensland Police spokeswoman said police were calling for any motorists in the area who helped or may have seen the woman wandering around the Bakers Creek area to come forward.
The spokeswoman said landholders in the area are also being asked to check their properties.
Investigators hold concerns for her welfare and are appealing for her, or anyone who may have information on her whereabouts, including passing Bruce Highway motorists who may have given her a life, to speak up.
“Even if there have been any sightings, please come forward,” the QPS spokeswoman said.
