A teenage boy has been hospitalised after a fall from a scooter – with paramedics unsure if a second vehicle was involved.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said it was first called in as a pedestrian being struck by a car on Milton St, West Mackay at 4.10pm.
But when crews arrived on scene they found a teenage boy with a head injury, who had fallen from his scooter.
“We are unsure if he’s been struck by a vehicle or fallen off the scooter himself,” the QAS spokesman said.
The teenager has been transported to Mackay hospital in a stable condition.
