Mackay police are calling for the public to come forward following a string of crimes over three days, including a brazen break in at a Paget service station.

Crokers Fuel and Oil on Connors Rd was broken into after thieves smashed through the front glass door about 3.20am on Friday.

Once inside two people searched the property, stealing cigarettes and drinks.

CCTV images captured two people police would like to speak with in relation to this incident.

On February 25, Mackay Northern Beaches police received six reports after thieves targeted parked vehicles on Manning St, Kidston Ave, Keim St and Old Eimeo Rd, all in Rural View.

Police are appealing for anyone who might have witnessed any suspicious behaviour to come forward.

Police said it was also a reminder for owners to secure their vehicles when unattended, especially at night.

Sometime between 3.15 and 3.50am on February 26, someone cut a whole into the external roof of an Andergrove business.

Police said further damage was caused to wooden beams and gyprock allowing for the intruders to move through the roof cavity to a position above a shop floor.

Roof panels were moved allowing entry into the business, however entry did not happen.

Checks of the business CCTV system revealed the intruders shone their torches through out but did not climb into the business and instead left via the same way.

Anyone who might have information about any of these matters is encouraged to contact police as soon as possible.
