A truck driver has been flown to hospital following a crash between Mackay and Rockhampton just days after a man was killed in a horror head-on in the same region. PHOTOS, UPDATES.

A truck driver has sustained head, shoulder and leg injuries in a rollover between Mackay and Rockhampton on Saturday morning.
The crash, involving a freight truck, occurred on Tartrus Rd, just off Marlborough-Sarina Rd near Clark Creek, 8.20am.
The truck left the road and rolled into nearby bushland.
The male truck driver was treated by paramedics.
The road remains open and police are directing traffic around the crash – the cause of which is under investigation.
Paramedics and firefighters are also on scene.
At 9am, the RACQ Central Queensland rescue helicopter was tasked from Mackay airport and arrived at the scene at 10am.
An RACQ spokeswoman confirmed the patient was in stable condition transported to Rockhampton hospital.
The crash comes after a 38-year-old man was killed in a crash in the same region this week.
Two women were also injured in the fiery head-on collision at St Lawrence on the Bruce Hwy.
