Mackay police have seized a huge amount of meth worth more than $1.3m at street level after an alleged speeding car sparked a search that unearthed the mega drugs stash.

Mackay detectives have seized a huge amount of meth with a street value of more than $1.3m after an alleged speeding car sparked a large scale roadside drug bust at Sarina.
Two men from New South Wales have been charged with aggravated drug possession after police found more than three kilograms of meth.
The arrest occurred just before 10pm on Saturday, July 22.
Police will allege officers stopped a rental Toyota RAV4 on Broad St and a subsequent search of the vehicle uncovered three kilograms of methylamphetamines, two grams of cocaine and more than $9000 cash.
The meth has a wholesale value of about $400,000, but the amount of drugs could net up to about $1.38m if sold by the point at street level.
Brandon Saysana Phommaly, 25, and Pokee Oscar Phalaklang, 19 appeared in Mackay Magistrates Court on Monday on the aggravated meth possession charge from the watch house.
Because of the seriousness of the charge they will need to be dealt with in the supreme court.
The elder man is also charged with possessing the cocaine and the tainted cash. While the teen, who is alleged to the driver, was issued a $1161 fine for speeding on the Bruce Highway (101km/h in a 70km/h zone).
Prosecutor Ruth Whisker told the court there was an objection to bail, however Fisher Dore Lawyers’ Sean Gibbs, who acted as town agent for Sydney-based firm KPT Legal, said there would be no bail application.
Mr Gibbs said he was asked to request a two week adjournment as the pair’s legal team was sourcing body worn footage in relation to a bail application.
Magistrate Damien Dwyer ordered the brief of evidence and listed the matter for committal mention in October.
Both men were remanded in custody.
