One injured as ute rolls over blocking Bruce Hwy, Yalboroo

The Bruce Highway is blocked north of Mackay after a ute rollover left a young man with arm injuries.

Two people have been involved in a ute rollover on the Bruce Hwy, North of Mackay

A ute has rolled on a major road injuring at least one person north of Mackay.

Paramedics were called to the Bruce Hwy in Yalboroo to a crash at about 3.15pm.

Reports say two people were involved in the single-vehicle crash, though only one male in his 20s suffered arm injuries.

A Queensland Fire Department spokeswoman said no one was trapped at the scene, while emergency services were still on their way

It is unclear how many lanes are blocked at this stage.

It comes hours after a serious crash on Shute Harbour Rd, north of Proserpine where two young adults remain in a potentially life-threatening condition.

Both were taken to Proserpine hospital.
