MACKAY'S favourite crumbed schnitzel has officially been decided.
Readers, you voted Schnitty in a Box as your deserving winner with 37 per cent of the votes.
Owner Dee Caldicott said it was a great achievement for the newly-opened takeaway.
"We put a lot of effort in and we buy on the very best ingredients including schnitzels supplied fresh from Tendercut Meats in North Mackay," Mr Caldicott said.

He said the shop had been overwhelmed by support from Mackay diners.
"We had to go out and spend a fair bit of money on new equipment to keep up with the demand," he said.
"We had to replace everything including fridges and (bought) a new conveyor oven."
They also introduced freshly-made desserts to the menu, he said.
"We do chocolate mousse, a chocolate brownie and apple and pear crumble," he said.
Orders can be placed online via the 'Schnitty in a Box' app and in-store at 28 Victoria St, Mackay.
Runner up winners included Pinnacle Family Hotel, Mount Pleasant Tavern and the Duke of Edinburgh Hotel.
