Mackay council’s 2022 abandoned vehicle auction

Buyers looking for a cheap car can snag one for as little as $1 with the abandoned vehicle auction going online. See the photos.

More than 50 forgotten Mackay cars will have a second chance at life.

The postponed Mackay Regional Council abandoned vehicle auction has now been rescheduled to be held online through Lloyds Auctioneers and Valuers.

It will begin on Friday, February 25 and end on Friday, March 4, at 10am.

The vehicles will be sold to the highest bidder, unregistered and in their current condition.

The council offers no warranties and accepts no responsibility for the condition of the vehicles.

Unlike previous auctions, buyers will only be able to view the vehicles online.
