Emergency crews called to rollover on Mackay Bucasia Rd

Emergency crews are on scene at a car rollover on the main roadway connecting Mackay to the Northern Beaches.

The single vehicle incident occurred about 8.10 on Mackay-Bucasia Rd near the Mackay-Habana Rd/Golf Links Rd roundabout, which is a very busy thoroughfare in the morning.

The vehicle has rolled and is on its roof blocking one lane of traffic into Northern Beaches.

One fire crew is on scene as well as police and paramedics.

A Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman said paramedics are assessing three patients from the car, which is believed to have rolled in the crash.

A man in his 30s is in a stable condition.

Police are urging motorists to avoid the area if possible. A tow truck is on scene.
