Dysart man and his dog rescued from roof of car after driving through river
A 21 year-old Dysart man and his dog have been rescued from the roof of their Land Cruiser after an attempt to drive through a river.

Swift water rescue crews have rescued a man and his dog who were trapped on the roof of their land cruiser after attempting to drive through a river.
Emergency crew were called to a scene around 200 metres from the Cattle Creek Bridge at Gargett at around 6.30pm Sunday night.
The 21 year-old Dysart man had been off-roading at the time of the incident when the Toyota Land Cruiser became lodged in the water.
SES crew reached the two and brought them back to safety at around 7.50pm.
The driver and his dog suffered no injuries.
It’s been a busy few weeks for swift water rescue teams after a man trapped on the roof of his ute was rescued earlier this month after rising flood waters swept his vehicle 200 metres from dry land.
