Sarina mum wins Gold Lotto draw, will travel around Australia in caravan

A Sarina mum will help her kids before setting off around Queensland in a caravan after winning a life-changing lotto prize pool.

A Sarina mum has her special numbers to thank for a life-changing Gold Lotto win.

She was one of eight division one winners across Australia on Saturday, with the Queenslander taking home $797,532.27.

She said she had a “feeling” she had won something big before confirming the numbers.

“I checked my ticket online and I couldn’t believe it, I went into the store to get them to double check it,” she said.

“I’ve been playing those numbers for years and years; they’re special numbers, birthdays and anniversaries.”

She bought the winning ticket at Freechoice Sarina, in the heart of the town south of Mackay.

The generous mum said she would help out her children before spending money on herself.

“I am going to help out my kids, it will be lovely,” she said.

“Then I want to buy a caravan and travel around the country, I’ll start with Queensland, it will be amazing.”

The winning numbers in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 4181 on Saturday 14 August 2021 were 9, 13, 19, 3, 28 and 24, while the supplementary numbers were 29 and 35.
