Moranbah’s debutantes have been challenged to think about what legacy they wanted to leave as they were presented to society in the traditional ball with a modern twist.

The 21 young women were escorted and presented at the 45th Moranbah Debutante Ball on April 2, marking their formal entry into society.

Deb Ball co-ordinator Judy Naumann said the fuchsia, white and black decor transformed Moranbah Community Centre for the ball which Neil Wicks compered.
