A Eungella community group has secured a grant for a new Men’s Shed to be built in the town.
The Eungella Community Development Centre successfully applied for the grant, which stipulates the shed must be completed by August this year.
Because of time constraints, the men folk of Eungella, Dalrymple Heights, Crediton and Netherdale have decided to build their own.
They are now seeking community input from those interested in discussing a plan and providing input on a facility.
An updated version of the shed in the backyard that has long been a part of Australian culture, Men’s Sheds are found in many cities and towns around Australia.
They serve as a hub for local men to share information, connect with their community and create.
