A male in his 30s has been flown to hospital in a serious condition after falling from a buggy on Acacia Drive on a Whitsunday island.
The man suffered a head injury in the fall on Hamilton Island just after midnight.
The Queensland Ambulance Service assessed just the one patient at the scene on Acacia Dr.
He was flown to Townsville University Hospital.
The police did not attend the incident.
Buggies are a very popular mode of transport on the island.
