A fast-moving blaze had emergency services rushing to a beachside community north of Mackay.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Service spokesman said crews were called to the scene of a car on fire along the beach side of Poinciana Ave in Seaforth at 1.47pm.
The avenue is metres from the popular Seaforth camping grounds.
It is understood emergency crews were concerned about the blaze spreading to nearby homes and trees.
The fire was brought under control shortly before 2.20pm.
