Travel Associates Mackay to introduce direct flights to Uluru in November

Tickets are selling fast for the last direct charter flight from Mackay to Uluru for the year.

Travel Associates Mackay earlier this week released tickets for the November 5 flight from Mackay, and already more than 40 per cent of seats have sold.

The package includes a two-night, three day stay in the Red Centre flying direct from Mackay to Uluru.

Travel Associates Mackay owner Debbie Rains said it was a “trip of a lifetime”.

“We know that our Mackay travellers have been waiting for the next charter to Uluru,” she said.

“It’s a trip of a lifetime direct from Mackay to arguably Australia’s most sought-after destination.”

The charter flight from the Sugar City to the outback wonder is three to four hours with the package including a two-night stay in the Red Centre.

Return airport transfers, daily breakfast and a seven-hour tour of the base of Uluru and Kata Tjuta is included in the package.

Additional bucket-list experiences such as the Sounds of Silence Dinner, Field of Lights Installation, camel rides and a helicopter ride above Uluru are also available.
