A new furniture store opening in Mackay will tap into an existing customer base and remove the online shopping element for residents.
Eureka Street Furniture will open its doors at its newest store on Greenfields Blvd on February 13, giving fans of the store a new option when buying from the Australian company.
The outlet has built up an existing customer base, and Eureka Street Furniture CEO Joel Brisblat said the decision to open in Mackay would meet that demand.
"We've been delivering to Mackay for a long time," Mr Brisblat said.
"I've been trying to find the right location and the right kind of feel.
"When we found the site in Mackay, it was the right size."
The store will open near World Gym and the A-mart store, opposite the Mount Pleasant Centre, and its first weekend of trade promises big discounts for shoppers.
Mr Brisblat said the opening weekend of February 13 and 14 would have 30 per cent off all furniture, and 50 per cent off lounges.

"We're an Australian family business," Mr Brisblat said.
"We search the world looking for really unique and interesting pieces of furniture."
Eureka Street Furniture has stores in Townsville and Rockhampton, and two storage warehouses in Brisbane.
"We had been looking to get into Mackay for a long time," Mr Brisblat said.
"With Rockhampton and Townsville (stores performing well), it gave me really good confidence, and we have been selling a lot to Mackay.
"When I went around and shopped our competitors, we're offering something very unique that I think will be a really good value-add for the town."
Eureka Street Furniture is located ta 7-15 Greenfields Blvd in the Greenfields centre, opposite Mount Pleasant Centre.
