PROVING she is more than just a pretty face, 13-year-old future model Fluer Higley is raising money for charity through a model search competition which aims to provide a key local charity with extra funds.
The RACQ CQ Rescue Model Search is an annual event in which entrants are encouraged to raise money for the rescue helicopter service.
Fluer said she wanted to participate in the event as a way of improving her self confidence. She also has big hopes the event, which will be attended by modelling agents, might act as a stepping stone for a future modelling career.
The philanthropic teen has been working alongside her grandmother Deb Dennis to raise money ahead of the big night.
The RACQ CQ Rescue Model Search will be held at the MECC auditorium on Saturday, August 25.
