Jack Anthony Pottinger-Dore killed in truck crash near Jandowae
Tributes have flowed for a Sunshine Coast-raised man who died in a truck crash on the Western Downs while heading to work.

The name of a 31-year-old former Sunshine Coast man killed in a crash on his way to work on the Western Downs last month has been revealed, as friends and workmates pay tribute.
Jack Anthony Pottinger-Dore was killed in the crash near the intersection of the Jinghi Connection Rd and Old Burrandowan Rd, Jinghi, about 6am on November 26.
It is understood the he died after his vehicle left the road, hit a tree, and overturned. He could not be saved.
He was born in Cooroy in December 1992 and grew up in the Noosa hinterland before moving to Toowoomba in 2016 and working in pipe-laying, concreting and bakery production.
In his most recent role, he was a plant operator and drain layer for Joe Wagner Group, which has since paid tribute to him.
“This tragic accident has deeply impacted our entire team,” a JWG spokeswoman said.
“During this difficult time, we are doing our best to prioritise the wellbeing of our employees and their families by providing immediate access to counselling services and support resources.
“We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and kindly ask that the privacy of the family and our employees is respected during this time.”
In launching a GoFundMe fundraiser, Liam O’Sullivan described Mr Pottinger-Dore as the “life of the party”.
“In his 31 years he enjoyed life to the fullest, including activities such as fishing, motor bike riding, mountain bike riding, travelling to anywhere and just having a good time, usually being the life of the party,” Mr O’Sullivan said.
“His biggest love was for his family and he will be eternally missed by his mother Robyn, big sister Emma and his three nieces Lilah, Indie, and Larni who he adored immensely.”
Mr Pottinger-Dore will be laid to rest on what would have been his 32nd birthday at Drysdale Funerals Tewantin Chapel at 11am on Saturday, December 14.
