A woman has been flown to hospital with life-threatening injuries after a single-vehicle rollover at Ipswich overnight.
Four emergency crews and police arrived at the scene on Rosewood Laidley Road, Grandchester shortly after 7pm.
A Queensland Ambulance spokesman said the woman in her 40s suffered serious chest and abdominal injuries.
“The woman was airlifted to the Princess Alexandra Hospital,” a spokesman said.
“She was the sole occupant of the vehicle,” he said.
Police closed the road until 11pm for the Forensic Crash Unit to investigate.
“The woman was in a life threatening condition,” a Police spokesman said.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Services spokesman said crews used cutting gear to cut the left side of the car as a precaution for paramedics.
“Emergency crews left at 8.45pm after making the scene safe for police,” he said.
