An elderly woman has tragically died after sustaining serious injuries in a three-vehicle crash in Brisbane’s northside last weekend.

The 91-year-old, from Deagon, died on April 11.

She was in a car travelling east on Roghan Rd just after 11am on April 6 when it and a utility collided.

A minibus travelling north on Sandgate Rd also collided with the woman’s car.

A Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman said when paramedics arrived at the scene the woman was in a stable condition.

“She was responsive with her primary complaints being chest and neck pain,” she said.

Police said the drivers of the other two vehicles uninjured. There were no passengers in their cars, but there was a passenger in the 91-year-old’s vehicle.

“Forensic Crash Unit investigations are continuing,” a spokesman said.
