Six front Ipswich Court accused of murdering Laidley father Jamie Barlow
A young woman accused of murder has now been charged with attempting to destroy evidence in custody, while she and her murder co-accused lie in wait for DNA testing to return.

New developments have arisen in the case of seven young people charged last year with the murder of father Jamie Barlow.
Mr Barlow was found with at least six stab wounds to his chest and torso at his Laidley home on June 20, 2022.
He died at the scene, despite the efforts of emergency services.
His alleged attackers are also accused of burning down his house and attempting to murder one Stacey Renee Vale.
One of the accused, Charlotte Barratt, 20 of Camp Mountain, has since been charged with attempting to pervert justice and breaching her bail.
It is alleged Ms Barratt attempted to destroy evidence at Brisbane Women’s Correctional Centre at Wacol between July 21 and 26 last year.
She was granted Supreme Court bail soon after, which she is also now charged with breaching.
It is alleged she broke a condition which stipulated that she could have no direct or indirect contact with any Crown witnesses, between August 22 and September 16, 2022, at Closeburn.
Ms Barratt currently remains on Supreme Court bail, while her adult co-accused are each currently remanded in custody.
The co-accused include Nicholas Graeme Barnett, 26 of Caboolture, Bailey Douglas Sinclair, 20 of Ningi, Gabriel Humberto Jones, 20 of Caboolture, Braiden Taylor Leslie Harris, 25 of College View, Tahlia Healy, 20 of Laidley, and an underage boy who 16 at the time of his arrest.
Each stand charged with murder, arson of a structure or building, and attempted murder.
Their matters were all mentioned in Ipswich Magistrates’ Court today, September 15.
Crown prosecutor Connor Lovett said DNA statements regarding the murder case were still outstanding.
He explained that DNA evidence would be required before the matter could progress.
The matter was adjourned to November 17 for each co-accused.
Ms Barratt’s bail was enlarged, and her co-accused were remanded in custody.
