A 21-year-old man has been arrested following alleged burglaries, stolen vehicles and thefts in Brisbane, Gold Coast, Ipswich and the Somerset Region.

Police have arrested a 21-year-old Somerset Region man for multiple alleged burglaries across southeast Queensland.

Samuel Lloyd Alexander Collingwood, 21, faced the Ipswich Magistrates Court on Monday, July 15.

The Fernvale man was charged with one count of burglary, two counts of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, one count of fraud, one count of unlawful entry of a motor vehicle, three counts of stealing and four counts of attempted enter dwelling.

He was allegedly involved in a series of burglaries and attempted burglaries, stolen vehicles, stealing from vehicles and theft of fuel from service stations in various locations in Lowood of the Somerset Region, Helensvale of Gold Coast, Teneriffe and Sumner of Brisbane, Springfield, Redbank Plains and Ripley of Ipswich across June and July.

He was arrested without incident at a fast food restaurant on Redbank Plains Road, Bellbird Park.

His matter was adjourned to Tuesday, July 16.

Investigations are continuing.
