A young woman has fronted court over a mega cannabis bust at an Ipswich address last month.
Court documents reveal police uncovered a large cannabis stash on June 30 this year at an address in North Ipswich.
North Ipswich resident Tahlia Jayde Condon, 25, was charged on the same date following the bust.
Her charges include possession of dangerous drugs (cannabis) of a quantity exceeding schedule 3 (500 grams or 100 plants), along with producing dangerous drugs (cannabis) and possessing tainted property.
Ms Condon appeared in the Ipswich Magistrates Court for mention on July 31.
She was represented by duty lawyer Matthew Fairclough, who said Ms Condon was “keen to get the matter moving”.
He said she currently intended to proceed with a plea of guilty, but was still seeking legal representation.
Magistrate Jason Schubert said the matter could not be dealt with in the arrest court, due to the large quantity of drugs Ms Condon had allegedly possessed.
He adjourned the matter for a long plea on October 3.
Ms Condon was allowed to leave freely on bail.
