Seven people allegedly involved in the brutal stabbing of Laidley man Jamie Barlow had their cases mentioned at the Ipswich Court today.
Caboolture man Nicholas Graeme Barnett, 27, and Ningi man Bailey Douglas Sinclair, 19, were named in court after both were charged with murder, attempted murder, and arson in July.
Following the 48-year-old’s death in June, police initially charged Gabriel Angelo Humberto Jones, 19, Laidley residents Charlotte Laura Barratt, 19, and Talia Healey, 19, College View resident Braiden Taylor Leslie Harris, 24 and a 16-year-old boy.
All seven co-accused face the same charges.
Police alleged it was a targeted attack which left Mr Barlow with more than a dozen stab wounds and his home gutted by fire.
Prosecutor Jessica Beckman told the court it would take three weeks to complete a brief of evidence as there was a “mountain of forensic evidence” to compile.
Police are also waiting on a pathologist’s report and statements.
All seven co-accused were remanded in custody.
The case will be next mentioned on October 19.
