The Australian Defence Force pulled three men to safety during a helicopter rescue after they were stranded in deadly floodwaters west of Ipswich at Prenzlau, northwest of Minden.
The men went missing on Saturday morning after they set out to help a woman who was trapped in her flooding home between Salvia Rd and Petrea Road.
The Queensland Fire and Emergency Service were called to help the men at 9.30am, and called in the SES and ADF to assist.
The ADF winched the men free from the floodwaters after they were separated from their boat at about midday and transported them to the Amberley RAAF Base.

About 6km from the rescue mission, Logwood SES member Merryl Dray tragically died just hours earlier while trying to protect a family from floodwaters - as of Sunday, five others were killed in flood wreaking havoc across SEQ.
A QFES spokesman said a motorised boat was needed to access the woman’s property, and she remained at the flooded house overnight.
“She still has power… we last had contact with her at 12.30pm (Sunday)… we have kept in touch with her,” he said.
The Queensland Times understands the woman was pulled to safety at about 2.30pm today, February 27.
Thousands of homes have flooded and Ipswich, Lockyer Valley, Brisbane, and Logan are bracing for more flooding overnight as the 1000mm+ “rain bomb” continues overnight, along with “controlled” Wivenhoe Dam releases.
