Harvest Markets opens new outlet at Yamanto Central

Fancy a homemade pizza with your fruit and veg? A well known Ipswich fruit and vegetable outlet’s new shop aims to go even further.

A household name in the fruit and veg game in Ipswich has set up shop in the city’s newest suburban shopping centre.

Harvest Markets, which has had a strong presence in Ipswich for decades, has opened a new flagship concept store at Yamanto Central Shopping Centre.

The concept store includes a raft of new curated features such as an expansive deli, an impressive cheese section, juice and smoothie bar, sandwich bar, and a homemade pizza bar.

Harvest Markets founder and owner Rob Sayle said he was excited about the move.

“We have put so much work into the new design. We wanted to include everything fresh and freshly made on site so that shoppers could experience all the benefits of our hand picked quality produce at the best price possible,” Mr Sayle said.

“Our cheese selection is the largest in Ipswich and includes over 100 local and international cheeses. We have sourced cheeses from all over the world and our range is unbelievable. From Truffle brie, to Gruyère to Crémeux d‘Argental – a triple cream soft cheese made from cow’s milk in the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes, and others such as Wisconsin-based Sartori Cheese, we have so much on offer and more.”

The new store will also boast a fully equipped kitchen with a chef on site to create an array of freshly made pizzas, lasagnes, pies, quiches and more.

“We have so much on offer at our concept store that we have employed over 50 people to help us deliver the best experience possible to our valued customers,” Mr Sayle said.

Yamanto Central has continued to unveil new retailers since opening in April this year.
