Five people, including two teenagers, are in hospital after a two-vehicle crash at Goodna on Saturday night.

The crash comes almost one week after another horror crash at Ipswich that left five teenagers with serious injuries.

Two of those teens remain in a critical condition.

Paramedics arrived at Queen St about 10pm to find two women in their 20s with minor injuries, a man in his 20s with back pain, and two teenage boys with chest pain.

All five patients were taken to Ipswich Hospital in stable conditions.

Firefighters and police also attended the scene.

A Queensland Fire and Rescue Service spokeswoman said crews were called to the crash at 10.03pm.

“Police were on scene when we arrived,” she said.

“We assisted with the casualties and with making the scene safe. We left with the police.”

More than 2620 people have been hospitalised by car crashes on Queensland roads in the year to April 30, a 38.6 per cent increase from the same period in 2020.
