More than 1000 properties west of Brisbane have had power restored this afternoon after a fault in the Swanbank area near Ipswich blacked thme out on Monday morning, June 17.
An underground fault was discovered about 10am at Swanbank which cut electricity to 1376 homes in nearby suburbs.
Affected suburbs included Cornubia, Flinders View, Raceview, Swanbank and Ripley.
